Things at the barn are going well, I have been riding at least once a week (either at Elene's (the riding instructor) or one of our horses. I have been going to an arts center for children and learning LOTS of Greek (Its fun, today we made hand animals and colored them in using bleedy tissue paper.) But I'm working hard, and eating well. Today ... Well I have no new pictures but I thought that I would update a bit.

Today we went out shopping (I got a new cute pair of boots) and went to a GREAT Italian restaurant, I'll have to take my parents there when they come. :)

I think that thats all the new things.. I miss everyone.

]]> Paleokastritsa tag:travellerspoint.com,2007-01-21:/blog/?domain=aramasrose&thisblog_entryid=6&entryid=40108 2007-01-21T21:11:01Z 2007-01-21T21:11:01Z Went on a road trip with Neils to Paleokastritsa, the Panagia Monastery and the midieval castle of Angelokastro. They are north west from Corfu, on the other side of the island. It was a beautiful day to go out and see something new. All very Greek looking. The views were amazing from the curvy road on the cliffs (Much like Elba), almost all of the views were of the ocean, which was perfectly blue and clear (and very cold). Soo ... But all the time there are new things to see. So many old walls or buildings that reside on the property and steps and paths leading all around! OOOHHH and apparently the house next door was where part of a James Bond movie was filmed! I'll try and take some photos over there too. I love it here soo much ... The vet came, and tried to help.. and I tried to make Domino (the donkey) feel better. Holding her head up, holding her up. 2. Being almost taken out by a 10 hand pony with a ... First day actually at the barn... really it could be said that it was a bad day, but I'm in Greece, which makes it better.
so..

Very long day.

I'm going out tonight to get a Souvlaki, for dinner and check out the town a little. hopefully that will make the day a little better.

The house that I'm staying in is 250 years old. Set on the top of a hill so there are views all around, of the mountains, and the town, along with views of the ocean. The ocean is clear, with the views of the main land Greece and the snowy Albanian mountains. There are 20 some odd horses, Skyros ponies. (about 10 hands) Very cute, ... Well I'm here, in Kanoni on the Island of Corfu, in to country of Greece.

The house that I'm staying in is 250 years old. Set on the top of a hill so there are views all around, of the mountains, and the town, along with views of the ocean. The ocean is clear, with the views of the main land Greece and the snowy Albanian mountains.

There are 20 some odd horses, Skyros ponies. (about 10 hands) Very cute, 1 clydesdale, and 2 Islandic horses. They are alllll cute. and very healthy. there are a ton of dogs, and other animals also so i am deffenetly happy to have different species to relate to while I am here.

I cant really explain how beautiful it is in words, so I'll have to post some pictures. IMG_0351.JPG
