Corfu, Greece

Well I have no new pictures but I thought that I would update a bit.
Things at the barn are going well, I have been riding at least once a week (either at Elene's (the riding instructor) or one of our horses. I have been going to an arts center for children and learning LOTS of Greek (Its fun, today we made hand animals and colored them in using bleedy tissue paper.) But I'm working hard, and eating well.
Today we went out shopping (I got a new cute pair of boots) and went to a GREAT Italian restaurant, I'll have to take my parents there when they come.

I think that thats all the new things.. I miss everyone.

Went on a road trip with Neils to Paleokastritsa, the Panagia Monastery and the midieval castle of Angelokastro. They are north west from Corfu, on the other side of the island. It was a beautiful day to go out and see something new. All very Greek looking. The views were amazing from the curvy road on the cliffs (Much like Elba), almost all of the views were of the ocean, which was perfectly blue and clear (and very cold).

Took a little walk on the beach with a scared little dog, who I had to talk Greek to to get her to come on with me.. Good day in general though. Here are some photos of the beach and the villa next door (on the same property) where some part of a James Bond movie was filmed.

Went riding today, I can see the ocean from the arena! it was a good ride. But all the time there are new things to see. So many old walls or buildings that reside on the property and steps and paths leading all around!
OOOHHH and apparently the house next door was where part of a James Bond movie was filmed! I'll try and take some photos over there too.

First day actually at the barn... really it could be said that it was a bad day, but I'm in Greece, which makes it better.
so..
1. one of the Donkeys has been sick for i guess a week, and today got much worse. The vet came, and tried to help.. and I tried to make Domino (the donkey) feel better. Holding her head up, holding her up.

2. Being almost taken out by a 10 hand pony with a screw loose.

3. Domino passing away.

Very long day.

I'm going out tonight to get a Souvlaki, for dinner and check out the town a little. hopefully that will make the day a little better.
